The largest part of the day the walk
goes along the LochChoire gravel road eastward, through a
rather flat landscape with several lochs. Very little movement here,
only a few cars of the local estate workers. Further on, a few miles
along the almost as quiet
B871 up to Kinbrace, with a break here at the station. One mile north
along the A897 I spot a suitable camping place: a glen located
in defilade position
from the main road, where seven stags were grazing (NC872327). Nice grass, although
I have to clean away a few stag droppings. While I settle there, the
stags continue to keep an eye on the scene from a safe distance. Today
I walked 16 miles. |
