Sutherland Sands 2011

Today a five mile walk from bothy to bothy, rounding the hill of Aird na Loch, along Loch Glencoul and Loch Glendhu. The settlement of Glendhu consists of a stalking house and the bothy, located at the head of the loch.

This bothy is much more accessible and thus used more frequently (although no one was in sight for the whole day). The last visitor even had left a couple of eggs which would nicely complement my bacon in the morning.
