A good oatmeal breakfast to start again through a wild landscape with lots of snow and ice. Descending the Bua valley to Hellevasbu, where I have lunch in the self-service hut: a can of soup with meatballs. And climbing up again, in deteriorating weather conditions. After another despairing climb of a slippery snow slope under the rain, it's time to look for a place for the last pitch. The place is nice enough, but the weather isn't. I had bought pancake mix at Hellevasbu, but end up eating the batter, quite tasty too. Rain on the fly all the time, but inside the Nammatj, one is nice and dry! Covered 15,2 km today. |   |
