The morning is dry, and it's time to systemize all stuff and finish most of the food. The walk is equally impressive, going up and down until the edge of the Hardangervidda plateau is reached around lunchtime. I have an extended tea break to finish up my gas and descend to Haukeliseter, with the final part of the path being extremely steep down. 14,2 km for this final day. So this is the final destination: time for a shower and abandoning field dress, and then treat myself to a dinner in the local restaurant. Very nice indeed, but also expensive (this is Norway, after all). After the meal, waiting in the café until this closes at 23:00, and then another two hours before the night bus goes back to Oslo. |   |
