NORDIC DISCOVERY

Bacon for breakfast and a leisurely departure, descending through the valley of the Leiro which is fed by the glaciers and goes down to Sysenvatnet lake.

Up again following the Kjeldo. The nice weather seems to have disappeared and thunders roar in the distance when I arrive at Kjeldebu just before the rain starts.

The self-service hut is well patronized, I buy and prepare some food, and sit out in the evening which cleared up again, preparing the rest of the trip and chatting with some of the other visitors. Walked 12,4 km today.
