Peaty Spirit 2010

A few miles further at the foot of the cliffs, and then leave the coast and climb inlands towards Lossit Farm, and then further north through the wooded lanes of the Ballygrant estate, heading for Caol Ila and its distillery, where there is one more dram to taste. Further on to Bunnahabhain — where I arrive unfortunately too late for a dram as this distillery closes quite early in the afternoon. I will have to taste this one in the pub then!

Just north of Bunnahabhain, the mouth of the Margadale river offers an excellent, albeit rather midgy, pitch with a nice view on the Paps of Jura. Covered 13 miles today.
