Wednesday April 2
alderbealachdubh A beautiful day for the highest leg of the walk! I departed towards Culra bothy, where the bridge marked on the map had disappeared so I had to ford once more. Further up a good path towards the dramatic Bealach Dubh, between Ben Alder and Sgor Lutharn. The path climbed up high and seemed to terminate in a wall of snow. Past the bealach, I soon left the path to descend in the boggy valley of the Uisge Labhair, all the way down to Loch Ossian. Underway I met four Dutch Munrobaggers. The path was gradually improving, and past Corrour Lodge there was just a few miles of track along Loch Ossian to reach the Ossian youth hostel (NN37106710), which was well patronized. Another 16 miles today! lutharnuisgelabhair
