Get up, have breakfast, clean the stove
and depart around 10.00 for a smooth descent towards the East coast.
The first mile still through the boggy glen, afterwards
on a sound gravel road via Deanich and Alladale. Such road allows good
progress: today made 13 miles to reach the inhabited world is reached
again. A good place to pitch was found in the area below the
George Ross monument at Amatnatua (NH472898). Baked oat cakes in the
pan, much less washing up to be done than with the porridge! |
