Today's trip is a short transition stage: just 9 miles along hardened roads, via the Shin Falls, which are developed into a real tourist attraction, to Lairg, where I install myself in the early afternoon on the local camp-site (NC587062). Time for some shopping (topping up oatmeal and whisky supplies), and a night at the pub (the Tip Inn, just 200 yards from the camp-site), with among others two students from Brussels who make a bicycle trip. |
